Moveable Feast
The mission of Moveable Feast is to foster a community that cares for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses by preparing and delivering nutritious meals and groceries and providing nutritional counseling. Other services include culinary workforce training programs to give vital skills to members of the community including homeless shelters and halfway houses. Hundreds of people have graduated from the program and are now gainfully employed back in the community. Turner Development is proud to support Movable Feast volunteering in their kitchen preparing & packaging food, and in their annual “Ride for the Feast” to support the 750,000 meals and 6,000 clients it serves each year. Without its dedicated staff and volunteers, thousands of people would go hungry each day.
